About the Convertim service

Terms of Service

Registration

These Terms are a binding contract between you and Convertim s.r.o., Id No. 11798491 (Provider or we) entered upon your registration into Convertim service as a user. You may register in particular by saving your details when ordering goods or services from a merchant who uses our order processing system. Please read these Terms and our Privacy Policy carefully before you register for Covertim service.

Convertim Service

The Convertim service is used to simplify your orders at various e-shops that use our order module. Your identification, contact details and delivery details, which you enter when ordering via the Convertim order form, will be stored with us, and will be automatically pre-filled for other orders and even other e-shops. Thanks to the connection with payment systems, we also ensure the storage of payment card data. These are not stored with us, but directly with the payment service provider. Thanks to the stored data, orders are faster and more convenient.

We will charge you no fees for the Convertim service.

Additional terms of service

Each time you agree to the updated terms of service on the Provider's proposal, the agreement on the provision of the service is thereby amended.

The Provider may also amend these conditions at any time unilaterally in full, if it notifies you of the amendment by email or in a different manner, including a link to the website where the amendment or the new version is available. The amendment is effective one week after the notification, unless the Provider specifies in the notification a later effect. If you do not agree with the amendment, you may terminate the agreement on the provision of the service at any time after the notification of the amendment with effect as of the effective date of the amendment.

The Provider does not guarantee the availability or functionality of the service or any of its specific features. By registering for the service, you acknowledge that it is a product that is constantly being developed and you waive, to the maximum extent possible, the right to compensation for damage and to the rights arising from a defective performance that may arise in connection with the use of the service.

These terms of service are governed by the law of the Czech Republic.

Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the use of the Convertim service, which you can register for when purchasing in cooperating e-shops, and related services (Services) provided by Convertim s.r.o. (we).

If you register for our Services or use them, we work with your personal data according to the following rules:

(1) What personal data do we process‍

With your identification, contact, delivery and payment details that you provide to us in the Convertim order form, as well as information related to purchases of goods or services, where you use our Services.

(2) Who processes your data

We as controllers and the people who supply us with various services, as processors. We only pass payment data to the selected payment service provider. You can contact us at the registered office or by email at privacy@convertim.com.

(3) Why do we process your data

(A) In order to provide you with the Services you have ordered. Such processing is necessary to fulfill the contract with you.

(B) To protect our rights, for example, if you make a complaint with regard to your order. This is our legitimate interest.

(4) How long do we store your data

We will work with the data for purpose (A) until you log out of the Services.

We will work with the data for purpose (B) as long as our legitimate interest persists or you legitimately refuse such processing.

(5) Where do we process your data

We process your data within the EU. If we transfer the personal data outside the EU, they will be safeguarded under the standard clauses. Detailed information about this instrument is available on the website of the European Commission.

(6) Your rights

You have various rights under data protection laws: To the extent provided for under the applicable data protection laws, in particular GDPR, you may request access to your data from us (information about what your specific data we process and how do we work with them), you may request restriction of the processing your data (it means, that we do not delete the data but we will not work with them) you may request data rectification and deletion (always if the legal conditions are met), and you also have the right to object to the processing and to exercise your right to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us via contact details above – the easiest way is to send us an email at privacy@convertim.com and we will be happy to assist you in exercising your rights. If you believe that we are violating legal rules by processing your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a national supervisory authority (for the Czech Republic at www.uoou.cz).

How the e-shop, where the order takes place, processes your data

In addition to working with your data when providing the Convertim service, i.e. remembering your data and using it for future orders, we also cooperate with the eshop merchant to facilitate your order. In that case, we are the processor of your data and the merchant is the controller. For more information on how the merchant processes your data, please refer to their privacy policy.

Purchase without Convertim registration

We will not register you in the Convertim service until you choose to save your data during and via the Convertim form. In that case, we work with your data only as a processor for the eshop merchant and according to its instructions.
